This cheerful, recently remodeled Shelby Park home offers three beautifully decorated bedrooms; two on the main floor and one upstairs on the second floor. Each bedroom offers a comfy king-sized bed, where you’ll be able to stretch out and relax after a long day exploring the best of Derby City.
Ceiling fans ensure the room environment is pleasant at all times, while bedside tables, lamps, and plenty of closet space provide all the home comforts you need. There is a luxury queen-sized airbed available in case you need extra sleeping space.
The upstairs bedroom contains a desk and office chair, perfect for anyone who needs to get some work done during their stay. Having this on the second level makes it easy to shut the door and enjoy a quiet working environment.

As guests, you will have access to the whole house, except for the owner’s supply closet. This includes the use of the three lovely bedrooms with king sized beds, common areas, and the fully-fenced backyard with firepit. With fast wifi and a quiet workspace in the upstairs bedroom, you’ll have everything you need to keep up with work if needed. Additionally, you’ll find a washing machine and dryer located in the kitchen, which is ideal for taking care of any laundry needs during your stay.
The majority of the home is situated on the main floor, with just one king bedroom upstairs. From the street level, there are a few steps up to the front door. There’s plenty of free parking in close proximity to the front of the home. However, the road can be busy, so you may prefer to park on one of the nearby side streets.

The neighborhood is called Shelby Park. It is vibrant and home to many new and hip hotspots such as Logan Street Market, Atrium Brewery, Louisville Vegan Jerky, Square Cut pizza, and Toasty Tavern to name a few. This up and coming neighborhood brings all the arts and all the cool new spots you want to visit.
Our home gives you super convenient access to the I-65 interstate. Thus making you centrally located to so many cool things Louisville has to offer. Less than a 10 minute drive will get you to a Bourbon Distillery, Boutique Shopping, Betting on horses at Churchill Downs, The Kentucky Expose Center, UofL campus, Louisville Slugger Museum or enjoying one of the many amazing restaurants Derby City has to offer!
Free street parking is plentiful, typically directly in front of our home. The road in front of our home tends to be busy, so side street parking is a good option as well. Uber of course is quick and convenient way to get about.
If you book a Bourbon Experience, they will pick you up right in front of the home.
Other things to note:
Located in Shelby Park, this beautiful home is situated in a very central location and near all the fun of downtown Louisville. Also a plus is the quick and easy access to the interstate. Please note that you may be able to hear city sounds from this property. In each of the bedrooms, you’ll find a noise maker so you can opt for white noise or the sound of ocean waves to help you feel more relaxed.
